Sia Files for Divorce from Husband Daniel Bernard

Australian singer-songwriter Sia has filed for divorce from her husband, Daniel Bernad, after nearly two years of marriage. The court documents, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, cite “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation, with the official date of separation listed as March 18, 2025.

The filings also reveal that the couple welcomed a daughter, Somersault Wonder Bernad, 11 months ago. Sia is seeking legal and physical custody of their child, with visitation rights for Bernad, and has requested that no spousal support be awarded to either party.

Sia and Bernad tied the knot in December 2022, following an intimate ceremony in Portofino, Italy, in May 2023. Prior to this marriage, Sia was wed to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang from 2014 until their divorce in 2016. Following that separation, she adopted two teenage boys in 2019.
